What is a Wedding Consultation?
You have both put so much effort into planning your dream wedding and we want to make sure our team is on board with every detail of the day to make sure we capture everything you have envisioned! We ask to meet with you both over a coffee 2-4 weeks before the big day to do a wedding day walk through, here’s what we will cover:
Timeline and location confirmation
Tips during each part of the day to help the day run smoothly
Style preferences
Venue restrictions or concerns
Physical features, tendencies, or insecurities you want us to pay close attention to
Any questions you have for our team

Who should be at the consultation? We encourage that only the bride and groom be at the consultation with our photographers to allow them a chance to establish a stronger relationship. IMPORTANT: If the wedding coordinator, parents or another wedding vendor feels the need to be at the consultation we respectfully request that they be a passive listener, allowing the photographer to get through all of the topics and further develop their communication. What do you need to bring to the consultation? Please have the following ready during your talk through:
Your final timeline
Your venue and photo location addresses
Your hair and makeup schedule
Your list of Family Formals
Parking information for the team
How long is the consultation? The talk through will likely take about an hour depending on the length of the timeline, the number of questions you have for us, and other factors. Is the wedding consultation required? Yes please, even if we only Skype! While our team is very detailed, organised and in sync, the wedding talk through is that last chance to ensure there are no errors in logistics of the wedding day, like the exact times and locations. It also ensures that everyone is on the same page in terms of style preferences and important elements and events for the wedding.
